I sit on the floor in the center of my room with my eyes closed. Sixteen candles are arranged in a circle around me

(That's not weird) I skip down the hallway humming

It's a special day. I guess. It's my birthday. In two years I'll be out of this place. I'll be free

I sit in the corner of my room staring at the cold and empty floor.

My body shakes and I blew out all the candles and open my eyes

I skip down to my bedroom

A dark cloud bursts through my window and I scream. The shadow swirls around me and I start losing oxygen. I scramble to my feet and run out of my room screaming. The shadow following me. (She's imagining the shadow)

I see a girl run out of her room screaming I run over to her ( cause I'm just nice that way) "are you ok?" I ask her

Some girl says something to me but I can't understand her. I continue running down the hall until I reach a set of glass doors leading to a balcony. The doors are always locked so I crash through them. The glass shatters around me and I stand up on the ledge of the balcony. My black dress flowing in the wind

I run after her and pull her back inside I yell for help

I'm breathing hard, the shadow thing is gone. I sigh in relief

"What happened" I ask her

"The shadows. They live in the night and get your head" I say and start to cry

"What shadows there are no shadows" I tell her

"There everywhere!" I say. I crumble to the ground and curl up in a corner

"Its ok" I soothe her "I'm angel what's your name?" I ask her

"It's in the walls, the air, the light, the dark, the corners, the ground, my dreams my mind, I can't drink, can't sleep, can't think, can't breathe. I want out! GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!" I yell

I freak out and turn invisble

The girl disappears. Of course she was just my imagination. I think

"Actually.I wasn't I'm right here" I tell her appearing again
